Our client a well established private medical clinic in Greenlane has said goodbye to one of their administrators who is making the move to Australia.  This has left an excellent opportunity for someone with proven medical administration experience (private Sector or GP service) to join this busy but supportive team.  Starting ASAP for the next 3-6 months this role is starting off as a temporary role while they make some changes to the role but could provide an excellent permanent opportunity later in the year.Located near Ascot Hospital you will be working in modern offices for a large team of specialists and nurses.  The role is full time hours Monday to Friday working 8 hour shifts between 7.30am - 5.30pm.  Parking is available nearby and is covered by the clinic.Duties include:Clinic preparation - booking appointmentsBooking patient surgeriesChecking and editing patient lettersEmail managementReception duties (backup)Updating details and making bookingsManaging the referrals coming throughACC forms and Southern Cross pre-approvalsLiaising with external health providersOther adhoc duties as required.To be considered you would ideally have:2 years plus Proven medical clinic reception/administration experience (private practice an advantage)Professional and friendly manner with both patients and internal staffExcellent communication skillsGood MS office knowledge and the ability to pick up new systems quicklyGood IT skillsThe ability to work to deadlines and take on a variety of tasksAbility to work well within a team and also on your own.If this sounds like you, Apply nowPlease note as this role has potential to turn into a permanent opportunity only those with NZ residency or citizenship can be considered.
