HealthZone Medical is a family-oriented GP practice based in Rosedale, Auckland within the AUT Millennium complex. We support a wide range of clients, from our own patients to the general public and businesses in our area. We are a close-knit team, so a warm, friendly, and empathetic manner is a must. We believe in delivering excellent care to our patients, so a desire to help people is essential. A sense of humour would fit right in. Our usual working days are Monday to Friday with opening (7:45am – 4:45pm) and closing shifts (8:15am – 5:15pm) that are shared among team members. The position We are looking for a Frontline Lead to join our team. This position is full-time (40 hours). Your duties would include: Working on Reception (greeting patients, checking them in for appointments, taking bookings, invoicing and taking payment, processing enrolments, answering phones and emails) Liaising with internal clinical staff and external providers when necessary Completing a range of administrative tasks such as GP2GP, debt recovery, processing enrolments, scanning, and filing Coordination of the reception team Overseeing the smooth running of reception and providing support where needed (including overseeing accurate billing, payment, accounts recovery, and proactive appointment template management) Problem solving and resolution Customer service resolution You will be reporting to the Practice Manager. You will be compassionate and have a positive attitude as the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the practice. You will be somebody who has the following range of skills: A good understanding of healthcare systems, general practice, and reception's role within this setting Friendly and approachable A team player, but who can also work independently Excellent communication skills while maintaining professionalism Maintaining confidentiality and upholding practice policies and guidelines Adaptable and flexible A fast learner with computer literacy Comfortable using multiple systems at once Able to think on the spot and problem solve Flexible if there are staff shortages Comfortable in the constantly changing environment that is general practice today Attention to detail while working in a busy environment Comfortable completing multiple tasks at once Able to prioritise tasks and complete them in a timely manner Experience with MedTech 32/Evolution and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential.
