**Position Overview**:
The International College of Auckland (ICA), a premier Auckland CBD-based private tertiary establishment, is looking for a dynamic IT Support Manager to oversee our comprehensive IT systems. ICA offers a variety of academic programs across disciplines including Engineering, IT, and English. This pivotal role involves the management of ICA's IT infrastructure, including but not limited to IT systems, the ICA website, social media platforms, IT networks, Learning Management Systems (Moodle), and Student Management Systems (Wisenet).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Management**: Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of IT systems within ICA to support educational and administrative functions.
- **Website and Social Media Oversight**: Manage and enhance the ICA website and social media presence, ensuring up-to-date, accurate, and engaging content.
- **Network Administration**: Ensure the reliability and security of ICA's IT networks, implementing best practices for network efficiency and safety.
- **Learning and Student Management Systems**: Oversee the Moodle and Wisenet systems, ensuring they meet the needs of students and faculty while staying up to date with the latest features and security measures.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor the IT support team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- **Strategic Projects and Deployments**: Lead IT projects, including new system deployments and upgrades, from planning through execution and post-implementation support.
- **Training and Development**: Develop and deliver training programs for staff and students on new systems, processes, and IT best practices.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- **Experience**: 3+ years in an IT management or senior IT support role, preferably within an academic setting.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional communication abilities with a customer-friendly demeanor.
- **Analytical Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving IT issues effectively.
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- **Qualifications**: A relevant business/technology degree or similar qualification is required.
- **Social Media and Web Management**: Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
- **LMS and SMS Knowledge**: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle) and Student Management Systems (e.g., Wisenet).
