As a senior member of the ICT Asset and Supplier Management team you will take responsibility for contracts and commercial arrangements that have been identified for specialist management attention. The role integrates strategic and hands-on management of various contract management activities.

**The Senior Commercial and Contracts Manager will**:

- lead and manage various commercial activities assigned to them.
- drive value for money for the commercial arrangements
- proactively manage contract change and ensure MBIE remain compliant.
- identity risks and issues, lead the implementation of mitigations.
- escalate dispute management & resolution (relationship & commercial); and
- manage expectations with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

- You will bring enthusiasm and interest in developing commercial and contract management knowledge, processes and mentoring within ICT and the team.
- You will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and experience in planning for and delivering commercial outcomes. In particular, experience managing ICT contracts.
- You will have a high level of communication and relationship management skills and be comfortable collaborating across all levels of the organisation.
- You must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand and be able to satisfy the Ministry’s security clearance requirements.
