As a Performance Lead our Technology NZ Planning & Performance team you’ll play a key role in their mission to provide strong proactive support and advice to the wider Technology function. You’ll be leading Technology NZ’s drive to improve our delivery performance - driving consistent delivery practices, measuring performance (flow, cycle time and overall speed to value). Key accountabilities include:
Overall coordination and leadership of internal delivery planning & prioritisation - both within Tech and across the New Zealand Centres of Excellence and Group Tech
Identifying and sequencing the right levers for change, shape clear success metrics aligned to Technology’s purpose and strategy
Leading the Business intelligence/insights team, providing timely and meaningful management reporting for people leaders, tracking key performance metrics with rich insights
Working closely with the Strategic Execution Lead to ensure proactive reporting against key metrics is available to support leadership and overall engagement
Ensuring alignment of priorities across the COE operating model, leveraging a consistent and coherent communications approach to update key stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to think broadly and develop a roadmap/prioritise, and sequence work and drive change even when faced with the more ardent sceptics
A strong desire to influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong end to end delivery focus, with proven ability to coordinate moving parts and associated change, risks, and dependencies
Data driven decision making and strong business acumen with clarity in decision making that demonstrates trade-off decision-making at scale
Passion for leading a team who deliver data and insight reporting which support the Technology Leadership and broader team.
Proficiency in different ways of working and techniques for managing delivery effectiveness
