- We’re all about Good Work_

You’ve probably seen us around - on the roads, building sites, and in cities, towns, and locations all over New Zealand.

We build and maintain infrastructure that improves the quality of life across New Zealand and Australia. Everything, from roads and bridges, to energy, water and communication.

What’s in it for you?

At Fulton Hogan we truly care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools they need to succeed. From medical and life insurance from day one, to increasing our KiwiSaver employer contributions for service milestones, family scholarship programmes, learning and development programmes, long service leave, and a slew of retail and supplier discounts, we’re proud to offer a range of REAL Benefits that recognises the huge role our people play in our success.

The Opportunity

We’re after an experienced Talent Acquisition Programme Lead - Early Careers to join the Fulton Hogan talent team, reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager. This role can be based anywhere throughout the country as this is a hybrid working opportunity, however Auckland and Christchurch are preferred, and travel will be essential.

In this role, you’ll see yourself responsible for overseeing and managing all things early careers recruitment and social outcomes. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be leading the recruitment, sourcing and rollout of all Fulton Hogan Early Careers recruitment, including project planning, managing scheduling and logistics of all recruitment events and expos nationally, maintaining robust relationships with sourcing partners (tertiary providers, community groups, iwi, etc.), and assisting in delivering on the national strategy through all early career’s initiatives.

You’ll be doing everything from working on implementing strategies to ensure our cadetship, internship, scholarships, sponsorship and graduate programmes and other initiatives are operating seamlessly, to creating relationships with high schools and universities, community groups or government programme providers to ensure we have a steady pipeline of talent joining the Fulton Hogan whanau.

To achieve this, you’ll work closely with our regional TA teams, national L&D team and regional hiring managers to understand their needs and objectives for each year and provide comprehensive, professional advice and support on all areas of recruitment for the early career’s programmes. You will continue to deliver the current campaigns/programmes of work and develop them further to future proof them within the early careers market.

What you’ll bring to the table

We’re looking for someone with an early careers background with solid experience and an excellent track record in sourcing talent, end to end recruitment and vast familiarity in working with various tertiary providers and community groups. You’ll be an innovative thinker with excellent communication skills, be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to attention to detail, a willingness to get stuck in and do the mahi and be flexible in your working approach while developing relationships at all levels. Coming from a decentralised operating model will be highly beneficial, as well as an understanding of Early Careers development programmes.

You’ll have the natural ability to build credibility and trust with all your stakeholders, be results focused, a clear thinker who can identify opportunities, measure effectiveness, and influence through clear, high impact communication to align others to a common approach. Your superior interpersonal skills and ability to manage large programmes of work from inception to completion will put you in good stead.
