We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join our team in Auckland. You will play a vital role within our People and Culture team, delivering people-focused strategies and support to our Product & Technology division in the APAC region. As the the go-to person for all things related to the employee experience within your client group, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and managers to provide People and Culture (P&C) services and initiatives that align with the needs and top priorities of our expanding teams.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Act as an expert and primary point of contact for all matters related to the employee experience within your client group
- Collaborate with P&C colleagues, key stakeholders, and managers to provide P&C services and initiatives that align with the evolving needs and priorities of our growing teams
- Be a trusted advisor and coach to managers, playing a critical role in enhancing their leadership effectiveness within your client groups
- Partner closely with managers on people-related strategies and offer thought-leadership in areas such as career development, employee engagement, succession planning, compensation, performance management and talent reviews, etc.
- Foster solid relationships with managers and employees, offering coaching and mentoring support in HR matters
- Actively pilot and participate in equity, diversity & inclusion initiatives
- Undertake any additional special projects as needed by client groups or the P&C team

**What you need to bring**:
We are a team of 13 people located in New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines, managing all aspects of HR for the region. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, APAC, you will work alongside two other People Business Partners.
- Extensive experience as a People Business Partner, ideally within the tech industry
- Knowledge of New Zealand and Australia (nice to have) legal requirements as well as the ability to operate in a global ecosystem
- Prior expertise in change management, organisational development, and managerial coaching
- Ability to quickly build rapport with various types of personalities and with employees at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work with a management and employee group that is widely dispersed
- Previous experience facilitating difficult discussions, offering feedback to employees at all levels, and coaching on such matters
