Partnerships and Development Coordinator

Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors. Biculturalism is a founding philosophy and practice of Te Papa designed to explore the contribution of Māori language and culture to the life, culture and activities of the museum in small and large ways. Te Papa fosters and nurtures cross-cultural capability, the ability of people of different cultural backgrounds to interact with one another in positive and uplifting ways.
We are looking for a self-starter and problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively with others, is adaptable and enthusiastic, and copes well with multi-tasking and meeting deadlines, to join our Partnerships and Development Directorate. The primary focus of the role is to provide co-ordination and administration support to the Directorate in the management of all partnerships, sponsorships and grant funder relationships. The role's functions also support the Te Papa Foundation and Te Papa's touring exhibitions responsibilities.
You will help to maintain networks and relationships with key stakeholders, co-design and administer systems and processes to manage and monitor the administration supporting partnerships,, coordinate and write reports, provide event delivery support, and organise key meetings and presentations.
**You need to have**:
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and plan and meet deadlines, with a structured, planned approach to working
- Demonstrated ability to report accurately on activities; analyse and present financial information and survey data; solid proofreading skills and accuracy with numbers
- Great computer skills (including the Microsoft Office suite) are essential; experience with customer relationship management systems (CRMS, e.g. Salesforce) and /or image editing and presentation software is beneficial.
- Ability to undertake entry level research of potential outcomes
- Event delivery experience is beneficial
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software and processes

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
