As the Programme Coordinator, Operation RESPECT, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating an effective support function for the Directorate of Organisational Development, Op RESPECT Programme. This includes providing coordination support for the development, implementation and monitoring of key deliverables within the Op RESPECT programme, including efficient governance and programme administration, and secretariat support.
As part of the Directorate of Organisational Development, the Op RESPECT Team is responsible for implementing a 20 year culture change programme designed to enhance the NZDF's prevention of and response to harmful and inappropriate behaviours. Op RESPECT's vision is ‘to grow a culture of safe and cohesive teams', that enhances NZDF's operational effectiveness, reputation, retention and recruiting. This includes supporting safe, respectful and inclusive work environments that improves individual experiences and overall wellbeing.

**Key duties will include**:

- Governance, administration and secretariat support.
- Managing the various programme artefacts & reporting requirements.
- Ensuring information databases are kept up to date.
- Building strong working relationships with the key enablers.

This role is based in Defence House, Wellington. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option of working from home up to 2 days a week.

We're looking for an experienced administrator with a strong understanding of governance concepts and practices, including preparation of schedules/agendas, managing meeting action and decision registers, and minutes. You will be confident working with senior leadership teams, have a continuous improvement focus and be a champion for organisational success.

**Key skills/experience we're looking for includes**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- A proven ability to influence others.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Organisation of workflow and determining priorities.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in information management, including advanced skills in SharePoint.

Low Level Security Clearance
- You must be a New Zealand citizen or you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
- At minimum, you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, and you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
- You must have a five (5) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
