**He aha te mahi? What’s the role?**:
The Grower Relations team serves an integral function in the kiwifruit industry as the grower facing arm of Zespri, servicing the Zespri grower community and industry. The Grower Relations Coordinator is a key position in this team by ensuring the communication flow between the team and the wider Zespri community is timely and information output to the industry is consistent and complimentary. The role also provides support for the Grower Relations Manager and Head of Grower Relations. This is a 12 month fixed term maternity contract.
The core responsibilities of the role will include;
- Personal Assistance to the Head of Grower Relations and Grower Relations Manager.
- Organizing internal and external meetings and events to support grower and industry engagement, including bookings, venue hire and set-up, catering and invoicing.
- Arrange NZ based travel and accommodation as requested for the Grower Relations team.
- Process NZ correspondence, purchase orders, expense claims, invoices and credit card purchases as requested by management.
- Support the two-way flow of information from Zespri teams to the Grower Relations team and the communication of grower sentiment back into Zespri teams.
- Assist with Zespri Grower Tour (annual), new grower Seminar tours and other grower tours
- Support the implementation of the grower engagement strategy, managing the action plan, tracking progress and consolidating sentiment information.
- The grower community is well informed and the Canopy website contains all current publications and monitored for timeliness of material.

You will have strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work flexibly with competing priorities. You will also meet the following selection criteria:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access database.
- Knowledge of the Kiwifruit industry is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Legal Contracts an advantage.
- Experience with event organisation preferred.
- Flexibility on work hours, particularly through the peak season.
