**Technology Sales Manager Job Description**
Typical responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization, in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee all customer relations activities, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and building relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring that the organization is getting the best possible service and value.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services and grow the business.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring that all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team, setting expectations and providing guidance and resources to ensure success.
- Analyse data and reports to identify opportunities to improve operations, reduce costs, and maximize profits.
- Manage budgets and financial statements, ensuring that the organization is financially responsibleand compliant with regulations.
- Track progress and performance against goals and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.
- Provide reports to the executive team on the status of operations and any areas of concern.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices and recommend changes to the organization’s procedures and processes.
Business Development
- Business Development Manager / Account Manager
- Build companies profile in corporate and government in NZ
- Attend events and be the face of the company
- Consider event sponsorship
- Consider outbound marketing channels
- Make direct enquiries with potential customers
- Drive marketing initiatives
- Communicate with existing customers on existing and additional business opportunities
- Assist with strategic direction for company
- Assist with product positioning and structuring
- Assist with evolution of collateral and brand assets (branding, website, documents etc)
**What they’re looking for**:
- 5-15 years of experience in sales and sales management.
- Experience in the tech industry.
- Strong sales management and leadership skills.
- Ability to learn cyber security technology.
- Solid understanding of customer relations and the ability to manage customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
