Finance Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Finance Administrator who will take initiative and be confident to hit the ground running with our Wellington team.
- Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be the finance administrative support to Regional Operational Leads. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Project / works finance support and including raising purchase orders, goods receipting, clearing aged purchase orders and resolving variances to vendor invoices
- Invoicing and submitting required documentation to support works delivered
- Update field data in Northpower and client systems and ensure invoicing meets the customer’s QA requirements
- Follow up on overdue unpaid customer invoices
- Perform a range of general administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, scanning, and providing support your peers
**About you**
Previous experience as a finance administrator for at least 3 to 5 years is a must, preferably in the infrastructure industry. You will need to be a quick learner to pick up Northpower & our client’s processes and systems.
- To be successful in this role, you’ll also have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Detail-focussed and able to see the big picture
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A high level of competence in MS Office suite, especially Excel
- System-savvy and ability to learn new software systems / processes
