**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role**

The Service Centre Administrator / Receptionist will primarily be responsible for providing a professional and efficient reception and administration service to the Service Centre team and all internal/external clients of the Department.

You will:

- Meet and greet visitors and contractors to Facilities Management
- Answer the telephone, clear answer phone messages and distribute to the team in a timely way
- Use the Building Engineering Information Management System (BEIMS) to create and process FM requests for Maintenance and Services
- Transfer maintenance and service requests to the appropriate contractor or FM staff
- Process vehicle bookings and facilitate distribution and return of keys for the pool fleet
- Provide administration and/or word processing support for Senior FM staff

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills/Experience**

You will have:

- Experience in a reception based role or a Business Administration qualification
- A medium to advanced level of computer literacy, Microsoft Office suite including word processing, Outlook and Excel
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Experience in maintaining systems (e.g. filing and information) and keeping office records
- The ability to quickly pick up a complex database system
- Experience maintaining confidentiality
- Commitment to continuously providing a high level of customer service
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to relate positively to a range of people
