Being the National Lead - Youth Pathways and Transitions at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa you will proactively and consistently communicate, collaborate and oversee strategic relationships with key youth stakeholders, government agencies and other relevant partners, building and nurturing credible and trusted relationships.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Māori Development, Education, Business or a relevant field
- Expert (10+ years) senior leadership experience in the education sector
- Proven management experience in a large public sector or commercial entity
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategically and deliver organisational outcomes with a specific focus on youth, pathways and transitions
- Sound understanding of government funding designed to support Youth initiatives / engagement / outcomes
- Oversee the design, development, implementation and delivery of secondary tertiary partnership programmes and the related funding and reporting requirements
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by rangatahi in their transitions from education into employment or further education and training
