The team
The People, Services and Delivery group is a newly refreshed team supporting the organisation with services including; HR, Finance, Procurement, Information Management, Operations, Risk & Assurance. We are collaborative, aspirational, and connected by our firm focus on supporting people to shape the future of New Zealand's law. We work to build strong and resilient relationships across the business to achieve strong engagement and effective partnerships.

The role
The PCO is looking for a fixed term People & Culture Senior Advisor to join our People & Culture team. We have some important P&C related initiatives underway including a big refresh of our policies, diversity and inclusion priorities, alongside a BAU programme of leadership capability and talent management. It's a great time to be joining the team if you are a strong HR generalist who is excited about the opportunity to drive improvements to benefit the business.

**Our P&C senior advisor will**:

- have strong verbal and written communication skills
- be passionate about getting the foundations right
- provide effective and timely first line P&C support to staff and managers
- have strong generalist P&C skills and provide quality and timely advice in areas including employee relations, performance, remuneration, and policies & procedures
- be passionate about supporting an uplift in HR understanding for people managers, providing support through quality advice, coaching and support.

This role is based in our Wellington office and is a hands on role where you will be able to see the difference that your mahi delivers for the business.
