**About the position**

In this role as Practice Based learning Coordinator for our Bachelor of Teaching (Primary School) programme you will develop, co-ordinate and maintain practice-based learning placements to ensure quality experiences for tauira in different learning settings; co-ordinate professional supervision; provide support to tauira with practice-based learning requirements; and provide appropriate levels of classroom engagement as required. This position will be based at our Mangakotukutuku Campus in Hamilton.

**About you**

If you have proven successful experience in primary teaching, you may be the person we are looking for. Ideally, you will have:

- Level 5 Teaching qualification, preferably adult education
- 5 years’ primary teaching experience
- Must be a registered teacher with the NZ Teachers Council or hold a current practicing certificate.
