**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Our Strategy & Investment team plays a vital role in enabling Pae Ora, healthy futures for all New Zealanders, through data and digital strategies that drive health system transformation. We build strong partnerships to shape and focus investment and change to optimise value for people, whanau, clinicians and the wider health system.

Our focus is on building strong partnerships with our customers, wider sector and government stakeholders and with industry. We provide strategic leadership, maximise value from our investment and commercial portfolios, and enable our vision with delivery roadmaps, architectural guidance and supporting frameworks.

**Mōu | About you**

As our Group Manager Digital Portfolio, you are responsible for steering a significant portfolio of data and digital investments. Your main mission? To guide investments from inception through to investment approval, ensuring we invest wisely and then deliver successfully adding tangible value every step of the way.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of these investments, making sure we strike the right balance of investments and consistently deliver value. Collaborating with both customer and delivery teams, you'll support and facilitate effective investment governance and processes that keep us on track. Your knack for monitoring and assurance and reporting on investment allocation and delivery against budgets will be crucial. Plus, you'll be driving investment strategies that align with our goals at Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora and our broader network of partners.

- The highest standards of personal, professional and institutional behaviour through commitment, loyalty and integrity

**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth

**Ko te mahi e tika ana mō te ao hurihuri nei | Work that suits today's ever-changing world**

Te Whatu Ora supports flexible and hybrid working for our kaimahi. In roles that don't require an in-person element, we encourage you to ‘work from where you are.' We want our national teams to be made up of diverse people from across the motu, just like our health system.

**Tō mātou whakahaere ki te tika, te rerekētanga, me te whai wāhi mai |Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion**

Our name, Te Whatu Ora, means ‘the weaving of wellness'. Whatu is the combining together of people, resources, organisations, thoughts and actions for the betterment and wellbeing of all. Whatu is also a direct reference to the pupil of the eye, and the vision required of the new entity and system.

At Te Whatu Ora we acknowledge and respect our people's diversity and spiritual needs, ensuring a safe workplace that is a whānau orientated and supportive environment. We are working towards a system that better meets the complex demands of a growing population, addresses the persistent inequalities experienced by Māori and ensures greater access, experience and outcomes for those traditionally not well served by the system - Māori, Pacific and Disabled People.
