**About the role**

Reporting to the Deployment Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the initial part of a customer’s deployment process with Halter. You will work in the high-performing, cross-functional Launch team, playing a key part in our customer’s onboarding experience.

You will be directly responsible for meeting key deployment milestones while working closely with our customers, external contractors and our Launch and Customer Success teams.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they will be challenged daily and encouraged to think outside the box to create more efficient and scalable processes. To succeed, you must learn quickly, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

**What your day could look like**:

- Conduct radio modelling analysis of farms, creation of install plans and communication of install plans to customers
- Timely delivery of the install planning processes to deliver on our deployment milestones and overall deployment schedule
- Creation and iteration of efficient and scalable processes within the deployment operations function
- Communication with customers, running them through the deployment process steps and answering relevant questions in relation to the process
- Organise drone mapping for customer farms, working cross-functionally internally and externally with our drone mapping contractors
- Coordinating third-party contractor timelines, including lightwire, electricians and other service providers
- Continuously improve the broader pre-deployment process to deliver an exceptional experience for farmers
- Support the wider launch team on activities such as pre-build and provisioning to deliver on our deployment schedule
- Support Halter’s launch team on special projects for growth
- Other tasks from time to time

**Who we’re looking for**:

- An enthusiastic grad or someone early on in their career is who excited about doing something new and different.
- The ability to meticulously manage projects from start to finish
- Someone who is proficient with using Google Workspace and the ability to learn software products quickly e.g. surveying tools
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you will be coordinating with team members and contractors in various regions
- Great attention to detail, you will need to ensure work carried out by contractors and casual employees is to a high standard and completed on time
- Excellent time management skills, you will need to prioritise jobs effectively and will be working to set cycle times
- A proactive thinker who can identify opportunities and action process improvements
- Experience using tools such as Virtual Surveyor, ASANA or similar project management tools and radio frequency planning software would be nice to have but not mandatory.
