Junior Account Manager

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

HPE currently has an opening for a Junior Account Manager based in either Auckland or Wellington Office working with a thriving and highly collaborative team of cloud consultants and other high value relationships generating embedded lease business. As a mid-level account manager, you will act as a central point of contact for assigned financial enterprise accounts and primarily focused on supporting our embedded lease business with GreenLake and HP devise as a service offerings. You will seek to understand and assist our partners to build compelling and successful financial value propositions which they in turn will take to their customers.

You will develop mostly embedded lease lead generations through a mix of HPE/HP and Partner originated activity as well as individual account generation activities. This role is ideal for early to mid-level account managers with experience in a professional services environment, need not have any financial services experience.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Build trusted internal relationships with decision makers within enterprise accounts & cross Business Unit Enterprise Sales teams within HPE & HP to convey the value proposition for HPE Financial Services offerings.
- Build growth opportunities by actively contributing to the account planning process; actively managing planning process through scheduled reviews & updates.
- Coordinate & participate in account plans for strategic enterprise
- Conceptualise & articulate well-targeted financial solutions to be incorporated into services engagements.
- Enter opportunities in Salesforce for both opportunity management & forecasting.
- Be accountable for meeting/exceeding sales quota.
- Conduct research and be well-versed in competitor activities and market trends.

**About You**:

- Early career. 2 - 3 years’ experience in account management and consultative sales within IT industry or financial services or a similar professional’s services environment.
- Willing to actively engage in receiving mentoring and coaching
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Growth mindset and willing to learn and adapt.
- Be a positive active contributor to the Southpac enterprise team.
- Consultive skillset and eager to be part of a large internal team of consumption sellers
- Proven success and track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.

IT industry experience would be highly regarded. We’re seeking an early career, self-motivated individual with a genuine desire to further their sales career within a leading organisation and professional, yet fun and dynamin environment.
