As the **Project Management & Deployment Lead** you’ll be leading and developing our project managers and deployment engineers ensuring they are successfully delivering on site build and maintenance projects.

You’ll be an advocate and role model for doing things better, faster and smarter, as we design and implement new systems and processes and evolve our operating model.

A key focus of the role is identifying opportunities to improve the way things are done, the way we work together and the way we deliver excellence for our customers - you’ll document and operationalise SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives, making sure the project managers and deployment engineers know what is expected of them and are fully trained.

You’ll be joining a fast-growing team in an ambitious scale-up company, where you’ll get a rare opportunity to help shape the ways of working and co-create the culture.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Building a highly capable and effective team of project managers and build/deployment technicians
- Identifying craft and capability requirements, hiring and onboarding, training and development, coaching and mentoring
- Workforce planning and work allocation
- Embedding and championing the use of Connexa’s systems and tools
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies and standards
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and establishing efficiencies
- Collaborating closely with the Programme Managers and other craft leads, together ensuring we are smashing our build commitments and creating a high performing environment

**Requirements**:
You’ll have:

- Proven experience as a Project and/or Programme Manager, overseeing and delivering complex projects
- Proven experience leading, coaching, mentoring and developing teams
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent understanding of people and craft development and leadership practices
- Experience in infrastructure or construction sectors is preferable
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to build trust and rapport at all levels
