**Team Leader Shared Services**

Are you looking for a great chance to lead a group of talented transactional accounts staff? Make the job your own, and really make a difference to Kiwi’s lives:

- This is initially a temp / contract opportunity paying circa** $45.00 - $55.00** **per hour plus 8%** holiday pay. It is for 6 months minimum.
- The role is based in Porirua. Due to the nature of the role, it is primarily office based.

**Position Overview**:
The Group’s Team Leader Shared Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial transaction processing, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, transactional banking matters and
cash flow management.

They will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the general ledger data through managing group accounting policies and processes, internal controls, and tax compliance. They will oversee
the design and implementation of system changes to improve financial processes, and oversee the prioritisation and remediation of historic processing issues.

**The role tasks**:

- Oversee accounts payable process. Approves weekly and monthly supplier
- payment returns prior to transmission to the bank.
- Oversee monthly billing process and ensures all revenue is billed correctly.
- Manage cash collection process.
- Monitor the resolution of supplier queries and customer billing issues.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed in accordance with
- monthly timeline
- Ensure tax returns are completed and submitted to the Inland Revenue ontime (PAYE, GST, FBT, Provisional tax, withholding tax)
- Build strong working relationships with the individual rest homes to ensure the timely submission of financial information to head office.
- Provide training to Facilities Management staff on financial processes.
- Liaison with auditors as required.
- Seek ways to increase the efficiency and timeliness of monthly accounting close process.
