If not a typical media agency, who are we? PHD Group in New Zealand is made up of several agencies specialising in offline and online media, Search, Programmatic, Data Analytics, PR, Content, Activation and Social Media. We don't book ad space or create Facebook posts. We merge the latest technologies, world-class strategy, marketing data, and knowledge of human decision making with planning and buying expertise to deliver best in class communications solutions for our clients.
We are a part of Global Marketing Company Omnicom Media Group (OMG) and encompass three integrated communications agencies covering media, digital, PR, social media, content and activation.
Job Summary
The development and implementation of media plans which meets the client brief and advertising and marketing objectives. The purchase of media space at a competitive rate. The post analysis of campaigns to assess campaign effectiveness. Positive contribution to your team and engagement with the broader agency through active participation in agency initiatives and shared client accounts.
The Account Manager helps deliver the day to day client relationship across their designated client accounts.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Ideally around 2+ years of experience with a solid understanding of Media and the NZ media landscape
- Understanding of planning and trading processes across multiple media channels
- Basic understanding of supply/demand market dynamics, modelling tools and impact on marketplace negotiations
- Able to effectively negotiate win/win outcomes
- Able to confidently present internally and/or to client
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Office suite, Pegasus, Arianna, TV Map.
- Ability to question or look further when something doesn't look “quite right” based on previous experience using analytical tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising to meet deadlines/timeframes
