The **Sales Specialist** is responsible for improving sales and contract management of a diverse portfolio of lubricant customers portfolio across New Zealand. The role is accountable for delivering volume, turnover and margin targets along with other sales metrics whilst supporting our customers and partners generate value for their businesses.

Be a key contributor in our dynamic sales team, delivering on Castrol’s strong growth agenda for New Zealand into the future

**This role can also expect up to 50% travel across New Zealand (North Island). Work needs vehicle will be provided**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Develop and implement the annual territory business plan for each account and ensure these plans are aligned with the overall business strategy and relevant strategic partners.
- Deliver financial performance targets for the portfolio customer base including Volume, Gross Margins, Turnover and Debt Management.
- Execute the prospecting strategy for the territory, including data gathering, competitor and market analysis, stakeholder and relationship management and the tender/offer process.
- Manage customer business reviews to communicate and prove value delivery for our customers and nurture relationships.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Experience in similar sales, technical or marketing roles.
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
- Engaging and driven, open to change and digitally capable.
- Comfortable working both individually and in a team environment.
- Track record of delivery of sales targets and performance
- Strong time management skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
- Relevant experience of the local market including legislative and regulatory knowledge, would be advantageous.
- Lubricants and Technical Product knowledge although not essential, would be advantageous.
- A pro-active and enthusiastic attitude to all tasks
