ASB's Future Me Graduate programme is a truly unique experience. A permanent position from day one, the programme promises to challenge, inspire, support and develop you as you begin your career. Whether you are part of the rotational offering, or refining your skills in a specialisation, the programme will take you on an 18-to-24-month journey through the complex and ever-changing world of banking.

During the programme you'll be matched with a Grad Sponsor, who will be with you throughout the journey to guide you and provide pastoral care, as well as gaining expert insight and support from our Grad Alumni and your future teams. You'll work with everyone from fellow Grads to General Managers, Business Analysts to the CRO - there is really no limit to the talent and experience you will be exposed to. Once you 'graduate' from the Future Me Programme, you will have developed an exceptional toolkit to take with you as you enter your post-programme role within ASB.

Our Risk division is responsible for setting, monitoring and managing the Bank's appetite for risk. At ASB more than 1.3 million customers trust us to protect their financial wellbeing and we rely on our Risk teams to ensure we have the right culture, strategy and framework in place to provide an unbeatable experience for customers. In an increasingly complex environment, risk management is fast-becoming one of the most sought after places to build a career within the banking world.

Credit Risk Management is responsible for managing the risk to the bank that comes from lending money, specifically the risk that customers are not willing or able to repay their loans. The team helps the business set and monitor our risk appetite and optimise lending strategy (using insights, models and systems) within that appetite. Data and analytics form a key part of our toolset.

**What you'll do**
- Help shape our risk appetite and policies right across the organisation
- Support the high-level management of a lending portfolio
- Use data and analytics to support lending strategy change proposals or enhancements
- Learn to utilise analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, and Tableau
- Learn how conduct and risk are managed in a large organisation
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of lending at ASB, constantly aligning this with our purpose
- Contribute to your Future Me Graduate network, sharing ideas and knowledge, helping to create an environment of creativity and continuous development.

- A completed degree (within the last 2 years) in any discipline
- A passion for understanding the value good Data brings to an organisation, and the usage of this data to problem solve
- A positive approach and attitude filled with curiosity and a true desire to learn and grow
- Diversity of thought to constantly develop new ways of solving problems
- Resilience and ability to recharge and continuously add value despite obstacles
