The Privacy and Ministerial Services team within the Associate Deputy Secretrary office is newly established to be the centre of expertise in privacy for Immigration New Zealand (INZ).

The Privacy team provides a single point of accountability and oversight of privacy work across INZ, increase capability and agility to respond to demand and encourage cross-training for lateral privacy work across INZ.

We have a fixed term opportunity for a Programme Integration Manager focusing on supporting the newly established centralised function within INZ and will work closely with the Practice Lead to establish a system-wide view to develop frameworks and consistency of practice of standards.

The Programme Integration Manager will have a focus on developing our people and support the National Manager to identify development, growth and wellling opportunities for our privacy people as part of the creation of the centre of excellence.

Key to this role will be supporting privacy team leaders by providing visibility at system level and collaboratively managing privacy as a centralised function that supports delivery across the business, while staying connected to wider MBIE and industry practice.

The Programme Integration Manager will be required to have working knowledge of the Privacy Act 2020 practices and proven experience in coaching and developing people. As the team this role supports is currently located in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, there is a preference for the role to be located there.
