**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**:
This programme is specifically tailored to graduates who are blind, deafblind or have low vision. During the programme, you'll gain invaluable workplace experience through a full-time 12-month paid placement with BLVNZ, with the potential to be placed with an external employer during the final 3 months of the year-long programme.

You will develop professional skills, practical skills related to your qualification, and build confidence in the workplace. A senior mentor will be assigned to you to support you throughout the programme and discuss your future career prospects.

Our goal is to help kick-start your professional career and assist you in gaining employment beyond the programme, by networking and leveraging your learnings.

**Ko wai koe | About you**:
We are looking for graduates who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision. Additionally, you will:

- Be enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills.
- Have obtained a qualification (NZQA Level 5 minimum) within the last 12 months.
- Be eligible to work in NZ.
- Be able to work in our Auckland BLVNZ offices; primarily from Parnell and other Auckland offices as necessary.

The programme commences in July 2024 and concludes in July 2025.
