Eke Panuku is currently seeking a highly skilled Development Manager who can bring their extensive experience to the forefront.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your unparalleled expertise and drive major projects to unprecedented levels of success.

As a seasoned Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading front end property development activities, encompassing identification, evaluation, negotiation, and project preparation through to seamless implementation.
- Providing strategic advice, ensuring robust feasibility studies and business cases, and overseeing developments to meet industry-leading standards.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with commercial partners, Auckland Council, specialist consultancies, contractors, and project teams.
- Influencing and leading senior decision-makers to safeguard the objectives and interests of Eke Panuku and Auckland Council in all development initiatives.
- Navigating negotiations and finalising development agreements with senior decision-makers, always prioritising the organization's goals and best interests.

- An innate level of commercial acumen, allowing you to deftly manage large budgets and contracts for property developments from inception to completion.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and influence senior decision-makers effectively.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, allowing you to overcome challenges and achieve exceptional results even in the face of ambiguity.
- Impeccable organisational skills, empowering you to plan effectively, prioritise tasks, and ensure the team remains focused on the most critical activities.
- Personal resilience and unwavering positivity, enabling you to maintain a high level of energy and optimism during challenging times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, founded on sound reasoning, to ensure complex issues are conveyed clearly and logically to colleagues, opinion leaders, and stakeholders.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

- Experience in managing due diligence, providing strategic property development advice, contract negotiation, business case development and board approval processes.
- Bachelor's degree in property development, property law, valuation, urban planning, engineering, or related fields.
- Full clean NZ driver's license or alternative means of traveling across the region.
