Our Corporate Trustee Services (CTS) team is one of the largest in the country. Together we have broad commercial experience in the financial services industry and other business sectors, with involvement and experience in a diverse range of corporate trustee roles.

**Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role**

We are currently recruiting for an Assurance Analyst to join us and contribute to the success of our high performing CTS team.

This role will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively, with other CTS teams and our supervised clients, enabling us to meet supervision objectives and obligations. We are looking for someone who has a risk and compliance mind-set with strong numerical and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to step back and see the 'big picture'.

Key responsibilities in this role may include:

- Provide financial analysis and input for supervised financial services entities through review of client reporting obligations, including financial statements, managers' certificates, annual reports, and other client reports
- Play a key role in supervising and monitoring client activity, ensuring compliance with regulatory and FMA requirements
- Monitor compliance and develop an understanding of contractual and statutory obligations, in particular the Supervisor's role in different investment products and offers
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory developments relevant to the company and its clients
- Develop critical thinking and take a proactive approach to all client matters

**Ko wai koe | About you**
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar capacity/role, ideally within corporate trustee services or funds/asset management
- A proven track record of 5 years+ as an auditor, risk, or compliance analyst, financial or management accountant, ideally within the financial services industry
- A Bachelors level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or an associated field
- Knowledge of the investments and managed funds industry, and financial products
- Ability to effectively communicate clearly across all levels, both verbally and written
- Exceptional problem solving skills, and be ability to deliver within agreed time frames
- Excellent report writing skills
- Knowledge and experience of Financial Markets Conduct Act and relevant managed funds regulations is an advantage for this role
