**Job Title**: Booking Clerk - Diabetes Parental Leave Cover (Fixed Term)

We are seeking an experienced Booking Clerk to join our Diabetes in Pregnancy team here at Diabetes Community Service, 26 Clarence Street, Hamilton.

As a successful Booking Clerk you will play a key role in the booking process for clinics for the Diabetes in Pregnancy MDT team.

Day to day you will be involved in booking patient appointments for Senior Medical Officers, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Allied Health staff. Ensure that patients are provided with the correct information they need to attend their appointment on the correct day and time. You will be based in an open plan office with other booking clerks, nurses and dietitians.

This is a 72hr per fortnight, fixed term position where you will be working from Monday - Friday between the hours of 7.30am - 4.30pm.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Booking patient appointments in iPM (FSA’s, Follow ups, Antenatal and Group Sessions)
- Processing referrals
- Uploading documents and referrals into CWS
- Liaising with clinicians, nurses, dietitians etc
