**He angitūtanga | The opportunity**

You'll be:

- Responding effectively to Member enquiries, seeking to understand their needs and providing them with information to ensure they have the cover they need.
- Providing accurate and timely underwriting and associated activities for general insurance products
- Providing information and solutions to Members for MAS general insurance products and services
- Collecting detailed information to provide strong referrals to other parts of the business to follow up on sales opportunities
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy in preparing and processing information

You will be a reliable person who has excellent communication skills, the right attitude, and a passion for customer service. We'll be looking for you to engage and listen to our Members and have great conversations to understand their needs, so previous experience within customer service is preferable. We'd also be very keen to hear from you if you've a worked within a complex call centre environment. You'll need a resilient attitude, be computer savvy and be able to work independently.

This role requires being onsite full time in our Wellington office for the first 6 months minimum. Hybrid working may be optional thereafter.
