**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
The Building System Assurance team is responsible for a range of building regulatory functions involving regulatory compliance, monitoring and assurance, and service delivery.

These functions include contributing to customer education, maintenance of assurance schemes, contributing sound judgment and technical knowledge and informing decisions on product investigations, warnings and bans.

This role calls for a focus on supporting compliance and monitoring functions across the team.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Experience working in a regulatory compliance or enforcement environment and/or the building system
- Experience using your knowledge and judgment to give advice and influence decision making
- Ability to become a technical expert
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including undertaking projects with representatives from sector organisations
- Good project management skills and methodologies combined with technical writing ability
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
