We have two newly created Senior Customer Regulatory Specialist roles in our Crown Property Group following a change implementation designed to bring us closer to our customers. This sees us take on more responsibility for property and land management. It is an exciting time to join us to support Crown Property to responsibly manage and enhance the use of Crown Land for existing and future generations.
All our specialists in Crown Property work collaboratively to ensure that portfolios meet legislative and maintenance requirements. We also work extensively with iwi on treaty settlement properties.

**Senior Customer Regulatory Specialist - Built Structures**:
The built structures team oversees our large diverse commercial & residential property portfolio. We have an interesting portfolio that provides a challenge, we can guarantee not every day is the same
We are looking for people who are interested in working in a faced paced environment, who can provide senior leadership and, also don't mind getting out there to make a difference. Working with such a broad portfolio will enable you to unique opportunities to develop your own personal skillset, and we welcome career minded individuals. The team are progressive in their ways of working and will provide a supportive environment.
This Senior position will have had experience in commercial and residential property management with experience working with facilities management suppliers, or previously worked as a development manager.
You will work collaboratively with critical stakeholders, iwi Partners and internal staff to deliver property management plans, monitor and develop lease agreements, perform high-risk property assessments, train, and develop our people (including what to look for in certain situations), and ensure that our built structure portfolio is well cared for.
This position is based in Wellington with travel around NZ. You will need a driver's licence for site visits.

He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience

**You will have**:

- Strong understanding of commercial & residential property, and/or
- Experience working as a Development Management
- Understanding of good asset management principles,
- Experience in coaching/mentoring less-senior members of your team in a way that builds their knowledge and capability (we have squads),
- Experience in Stakeholder engagement & relationship building,
- Financial & Property reporting,
- NZ Cultural competency for working with iwi.

**You may also bring**:

- Property degree or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Experience in commercial and residential property management with experience in leasing
- Residential tenancy agreements and planned maintenance scheduling
- Proven experience in customer service management

**The annual salary range for this role is**: $117,000 - $136,000 dependant on experience level.
