My client is a leading provider of industrial aluminium based in New Zealand and is at the forefront of delivering high-quality products and services to clients across diverse industries. I am excited to be bringing to market this exceptional opportunity for an experienced and customer-centric Technical Account Manager to join the dedicated team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with your clients, ensuring the seamless integration and optimal utilization of industrial aluminium solutions. This position involves understanding client technical requirements, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring a high level of service delivery.

**About the role**
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new business
- Gain a deep understanding of clients' technical needs and effectively communicate these requirements to internal technical and support teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and customise solutions based on client specifications
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling

**About you**
- A track record in building excellent customer relations in a commodity industrial market segment
- 3-5 years of solid industrial / engineering knowledge. Experience in the aluminium industry preferred
- Ability to work autonomously but at the same time be part of a highly productive team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including good basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to share complex commercial, technical and product knowledge related information
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset
- Salesforce CRM experience would be advantageous
