Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
Our brand new OIA Advisory and Complaints team is responsible for uplifting capability in OIA and proactive release practices. We work to enhance a culture of, and efficient processes for, the proactive release of information, supporting the organisation to learn from Ombudsman complaints and reporting on our performance.
In this role you will build on your OIA experience to work closely across Government Services, with teams across Manatū Hauora and with Ministers' Offices to enable efficient and customer focused processes for proactive release. We also support training and reporting (internal and external) so experience with training, tracking and reporting are key, as well as familiarity with complaints to the Ombudsman.

Ko ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring
- Curiosity and a strong focus on solutions
- One to three years' experience (Advisor) or three to five (Senior) working with the OIA, and some familiarity with proactive release
- Comfort adapting to sometimes rapidly changing priorities
- Demonstrated experience working with workflow tracking and performance reporting
- Demonstrated experience (Senior) or an interest (Advisor) in training teams to uplift their capability to manage and release official information
