About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for two Advisors to join our small, collaborative OIA and Complaints team.

You will be responsible for supporting WorkSafe's Operations group to meet its legislative and parliamentary obligations through managing and coordinating responses to all operations related OIAs, complaints, Parliamentary questions and ministerial correspondence.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage the endtoend process for all Official Information Act 1982 and Privacy Act 2020 requests for WorkSafe's Operations Group
  • Provide advice on the management and resolution of the complaints received by WorkSafe's Operations
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the Operations group, and wider organisation, to ensure necessary consultation is undertaken on all responses
  • Ensure responses from across WorkSafe are ontime, consistent and of high quality

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated success in developing relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Political astuteness and understanding of risks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and cope with work related pressures
  • Computer literate in Microsoft suite, Adobe and/or other redaction software

Salary range

As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $73,705to $98,273 (PS 15), and our expected starting base salary for the right person is from$73,705 to $81,894.


Note:
KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
