**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

Other responsibilities of the role include:

- Facilitate support campaigns, including working with the Researcher Development Adviser and Coordinator to deliver information events, webinars, workshops, and other relevant activities.
- Build knowledge of funder priorities, strategies, processes and requirements and collate relevant funder intelligence from colleagues across the institution.
- Undertake quality assurance and compliance checks on research proposals to ensure funder requirements are met.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role, on a permanent contract. The salary range for the role is $68,600 - $84,700 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

- Tertiary qualification
- Experience working in a large complex organisation and or research management experience within a public/government agency.
- Experience or knowledge of the significant research funds, i.e. HRC, Marsden, etc.
- Experience working on standard academic projects or proposals.
- Previous experience working in an administrative position.
- Experience working with systems and databases
- Experience comprehending and communicating recommendations and proposal adjustments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines
- Stakeholder management - ability to work through and with others.
- Ability to multitask.
- A continuous improvement mindset - always looking for better ways to do things.
