Director of International Students

We are seeking a dedicated, organised, compassionate, and effective person to lead our International Student Department in all facets of pastoral care, academic excellence, marketing, and recruitment.
Previous experience in the area will be an advantage. You will have the ability to;
- Produce strategic plans and budgets for the department
- Plan, organise and undertake marketing trips, both overseas and within New Zealand
- Ensure the programme's compliance with The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021
- Recruit and enrol international students
- Oversee the pastoral care and academic progress of the international students, including liaising with the Careers Advisor about future study and careers
- Plan and organise events and activity programmes for the international students throughout the year
- Lead the international team, including completing staff appraisals and being involved in the staff recruitment process
- Produce marketing materials and run the department's social media
- Use a variety of computer programmes such as Eschool and KAMAR - experience is preferred but not essential
The role is Grade 6 in the Support Staff in Schools - (Administration) CA
