**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
We have the opportunity available to join the Northern region, Strategy and Operations team as the **Manager, Planning, Policy and Performance**. This permanent, full-time role will see you leading the operational and people management within the Planning, Policy and Performance team and across the region to drive an organisational culture that supports delivery of the strategic and operational plans, policy development and performance reporting, meeting the NPHS and Te Whatu Ora performance expectations and supporting our engagement across the health system and sectors. The role also includes leadership for the regional emergency readiness mahi. The role can be located at Greenlane or Whangārei.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A Bachelors qualification or equivalent experience, and a post graduate is desirable.
- Has a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Experience in supervision, mentoring, coaching and teaching skills
- Experience in working with iwi/ hapū and Māori communities
- Understanding and experience working in partnerships with Pacific communities
