**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
Do you like working in a busy team that provides business advice and support? The Advisor Planning and Performance assists in the development of branch transformational strategies. This includes developing policy, plans, and reports as needed, as well as assisting in the monitoring of the branch's performance and ensuring the quality and consistency of advice and practises in relation to the team's work. This role also provides support to our Digital, Data and Insights Leadership team.

Bring your understanding of business operations, your relationship management skills, and your individual perspective to work across Digital Data and Insights (DDI) and MBIE

- 2-3 years’ experience in business planning and performance management is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including proven business and report writing skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Analysis and decision-making skills
- Good numerical skills, an understanding of statistics and advanced Microsoft skills in particular Excel
- Sound appreciation of corporate management disciplines and techniques
- Sound judgement and sensitivity with experience managing confidential information
- Strong relationship management skills
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
