Our Team
You will be joining a sizable team in our Christchurch office of 12+ experienced engineers who work with and support each other daily, offering a great chance to develop your skills whilst being supported every step of the way.

About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Control user log-on and registration requirements.
- Monitor, tune and perform trend analysis of the System/Network performance.
- Produce and act on security violation reports.
- Maintain the Information System Disaster Recovery Manual and coordinate contingency tests.
- Plan, implement and monitor backup and recovery of platforms and related components using the agreed backup methodology.
- Implement system OS and Firmware patching in alignment with the customers policy.
- Take part in a rostered on-call rota with the team to support the client’s system out of hours.
- Take part in escalations (War rooms) and provide information to investigations.
- There may be after-hours work (patching and scheduled changes).

What you’ll bring
- 2+ years’ experience in IT Support, Networking and Systems Administration.
- Thorough knowledge of security policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the relevant technologies such as Microsoft OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Messaging Systems, Remote Desktop Services, Azure laaS and 365, Enterprise Antivirus, Systems Monitoring tools, Hardware and Storage and PowerShell scripting. Desirable skills are VMWare virtualised environment management, Citrix and Security.

- Exceptional trouble shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to multi-task between our varied client environments.
