**What our client can offer**:
Smooth-Air Products Ltd is a manufacturer, importer, and wholesaler of Ventilation, Heating and Air Conditioning components. They have built a reputation as a supplier of quality ventilation and air conditioning components to the commercial and domestic market for more than 30 years. This role will allow you to demonstrate your generalist IT and systems administration skills as you support your team with hardware, desktop, systems, and networking needs. There is good support available from their Australian teams and a wonderful family feel to the business.

**What you will do**:
This role will be incredibly varied and has plenty of scope to grow as you start to learn the ropes. You will be working very generally across IT needs within the business and communicating with the wider team.

**Specific duties will include**:

- Providing Technical support to end users in person and to remote staff via phone/TeamViewer.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates, patches, and configurations to ensure the stability and reliability of the infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and system failures promptly, minimising downtime and optimising system performance.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of third-party solutions and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver the solution.
- Support the development of business cases and proposals for new projects and initiatives.
- Evaluate, recommend, and deliver new technologies and tools that can enhance the performance and security of the organisation's IT infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and best practices for efficient system management and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders, facilitating training sessions and workshops to promote the effective use and understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services within the organisation.

**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
In this role lots of initiative, a can-do attitude, self-motivation and time management are everything, as is an open, honest, and friendly communication style. You will need to be accessible and approachable within the business and be able to build trust and relationships with a wide range of colleagues.

Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science. The role and remuneration level is best suited to a down-to-earth, adaptable and flexible Systems Administrator with around 3-5 years of experience.
