Description
We are currently looking for a motivated Process Analyst & Receivables to join our friendly Accounts department at PB Head Office

**Process Analysis**:
To acquire a cross-functional knowledge of how transactions are processed to enable investigations to be carried out for identifying causes of errors, or analysing outcomes of transactions. Some of the examples are (Non exhaustive):

- How a sale is processed, raising the sales order, at point-of-sales, web orders, or term account sales.
- Various transaction types in point-of-sales, payment methods, giftcards, cash handling, tax rates etc.
- Transactions in the RA Master and how they affect stock, valuation etc.
- Stocktake manager program processing, understanding how the stocktakes result in ledger postings and analyse stocktake outcomes.
- Understanding various different product definitions, e.g. product groups, diminishing versus non-diminishing, and how they impact the ledger, costing and margins etc.
- Running different reports from PBABM and other internal systems as required for various purposes.
- Prepare written reports or communications outlining issues identified from the systems or processes and specifying solutions or changes required.
- Plan and prepare the supports needed for any new stores including the provision of EFTPOS, Merchant accounts, Epay, AMEX etc.
- Manage cash handling activities at all stores by coordinating with ACM for cash collections.

**Receivables**:
To support the receivable team in helping to resolve customer issues, and to organise and delegate duties for the team members.

**Some specific tasks include (Non-exhaustive)**:

- Reviewing special credit control decisions, including the approval of term accounts, release of special orders.
- Arranging and delegating tasks to Receivable team members to ensure they have clear goals and objectives, and to follow up on progress.
- Managing Receivable team attendance, annual leave, recruitment and replacements.
- Handle difficult and unusual customer issues, including returns, refunds, disputes and other inquiries.
- Understanding and implementing processes required for any new payment platform or new BNPL providers.
- Reviewing and processing unusual or exceptionally large orders or orders from customers outside of their credit limits, including seeking required special approvals.
- Investigate customer frauds and seek solutions to prevent future occurrence, including changes in processes or seeking changes to information system to achieve that outcome.
- Providing data required for annual credit insurance renewal and yearly declaration.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Proactive and be willing to help where needed. You have positive work attitude with a keenness for learning.
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Great attention to details and accurate with data and figures.
- Able to handle daily tasks that typically have high volumes of transactions.
- Good listener and able to digest information into workable data.
- Accounting qualification not a pre-requisite but should be able to be precise with numbers.
