**This role : Media Account Executive - at FCB Media**

A Media Account Executive role would be your launchpad to a career in media and advertising. We train, develop and mentor our graduate Executive’s, and you’ll gain a solid understanding of tools and platforms, best process and an impressive understanding of the New Zealand media landscape.
You’ll be supported by your team as you hone your skills, and you will play a key role in your team supporting the Connections Planners, and Performance Media teams to effectively execute and deliver digital campaigns (biddable and non-biddable) through use of third-party tracking technologies and solutions.
As you grow into your role and gain confidence in your media knowledge & media tools, you’ll provide technical expertise on the use of third-party tracking technologies, and support the deployment with client technology teams, & our technology partners, executing setups, detailed testing & quality assurances processes.

**What you’ll need to bring to the team**:

- You may be a recent graduate of Marketing, Business Studies, Computer Science, Technology or similar, and you are ready to take your first step into the exciting world of media, or you may have some entry level experience in a media agency in a similar role
- Passion and hunger to make your mark in the media world
- Willingness to keep up-to-date on the advertising industry and new trends and innovations
- Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills
- Ability to show initiative and proactivity
- Team player happy to pitch in wherever and however you can to help your team
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel & Powerpoint
- Natural ability to build strong relationships both internally (team and wider agency) and externally (clients & suppliers)
- A positive, friendly, can do attitude - ability to cope well with pressure, equally able to have a belly laugh and banter, and contribute to the culture of the team and the wider agency
- Importantly, you’ll be able to work well both independently and within a team environment contributing to all things FCB, be keen to learn and continue to develop

A love of the power of data and reporting is key to your success, we report on media spend, track every campaign, and use data more frequently and in more sophisticated ways. While having a strong mathematical background isn’t necessary (excel does the maths for us), a strong attention to detail is essential, along with an innate aptitude for technology.

Your hunger to learn and can-do attitude will take you far in an entry level media role. If you possess a great attitude and the key points above there is little experience required, we have the people, the tools and the training programs to develop you and ensure you thrive and succeed in this first step of your media career.
