**What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga**
As a Channel Improvement Specialist, you'll work closely with our Customer Experience teams to enhance channel capabilities, improve performance, and drive key initiatives. Your focus will be on refining systems and processes to better support our frontline teams in meeting the needs of our business, member, and customer needs. Your work will make a real difference by enhancing how we connect with our Members, ultimately driving better service and results.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking analysis - process, financial, business, and risk - of improvement initiatives.
- Providing clear recommendations to stakeholders regarding the prioritisation of these opportunities.
- Assisting in the delivery of improvement initiatives and support project managers and implementation specialists in executing larger projects.
- Establishing and managing stakeholder expectations by formally agreeing on goals, objectives, scope, and outcomes.
- Working with third-party developers to build, test, and validate solutions that meet business requirements
- Some regional travel will be required
**About You | Mōu**
You'll have a background in financial services, ideally within insurance or frontline service delivery roles. In addition to your collaborative nature and relationship management skills, you'll demonstrate a strong sense of personal ownership, adaptability, and a results-driven approach.
- Proven experience as a functional specialist working on systems and projects, including user testing and communications.
- Ability to engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements or to successfully deliver key projects,
- Familiarity with Agile delivery tools and practices, as well as continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean, or Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable.
