Our client is a health and disability service that provides support to people of all ethnicities with intellectual impairments around New Zealand and they are now on the lookout for a Senior HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
**About the role**
Providing support to the People and Culture Manager, you’ll be the key contact for employees and management regarding people queries, escalating as appropriate to other members of the People and Culture team.
Administration is your happy place, you’ll enjoy being the caretaker of all employee files, from drafting HR documentation, letters of offers and variations through to filing, you’ll have it all covered, ensuring that processes run smoothly, effectively and efficiently, every time.
- You’ll also:_
- Provide executive support by assisting with the compilation of board reports, drafting letters and confidential communications
- Supporting the People and Culture Manager with projects and process improvement, continuously identifying and providing solutions to improve ways of working.
- Covering absences in the People and Culture team
- Ongoing liaison with payroll on employee and manager queries.
**About you**
With 3+ years of HR admin experience in a highly diverse, multi-site organisation, you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take charge, to ease the load on those you support. You’ll be able to blend senior-level administrative support with HR practices and have the integrity to maintain employee and organisational confidentiality.
It goes without saying that you possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to relate to people with different work styles, adapting accordingly. Your organisational, time management and prioritisation skills are exemplary, as is your ability to remain one step ahead of those you support. You are personable, self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.
Most of all, you are an HR professional driven to achieve continuous improvement and have a proactive approach to your work willing to take opportunities as they present themselves.
