Family Planning is New Zealand’s leading sexual and reproductive health organisation. Family Planning is a specialist provider of clinical and health promotion training and we offer a range of online and in-person courses for healthcare professionals. We are looking for a Professional Training and Development Coordinator to support the delivery of our internal and external training by providing administrative and coordination support. This role is a key part of ensuring our Professional Training and Development Unit provides effective and best practice learning offerings.

This role is based in our National Office Wellington and is a full-time role offering 40 hours per week worked across Monday to Friday.

In this role you will become the super user of our Learning Management System (LMS), Totara to ensure all content is uploaded and maintained effectively as well as developing innovative ideas to utilise the full capability of our LMS. You will plan and schedule courses and use your coordination skills to maximise the occupancy of our courses. This role requires you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively with course participants to ensure they have a seamless experience as well as promoting all of the courses we have available and any new offerings, through maintaining and fostering these relationships.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about the work of Family Planning and the delivery of services that promote access to and learning of sexual and reproductive health.

**We would love to consider you for the role if you have the following**:

- Experience within a learning and development environment, including the administration of learning management system.
- Strong administrative background with high attention to detail.
- Ability to connect and support students.
- Understanding of on-line facilitation, teaching delivery and skills assessment design.
- Excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet use, use of design and graphics tools).
