**People & Culture National Manager | Infrastructure Delivery**

This role will work closely with an experienced Senior Leadership team with strong expertise across a range of infrastructure construction projects with a value ranging from $20m - $1b.

Downer’s Transport and Infrastructure People & Culture team is as diverse as it is technically strong and in the role People & Culture National Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your extensive People & Culture skills within a truly collaborative, forward thinking, and successful organisation.
Reporting to the GM People and Culture, this role will work closely with the GM Infrastructure Delivery and senior leadership team to provide expertise, leadership, and guidance across all People & Culture Services for this business. This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington and is a true business partnership, and you will work collaboratively with the operational business on key People & Culture initiatives such as strategy development, talent, organisational capability, culture and readiness. In this role you will have direct responsibility for a small People & Culture team.
Operationally you will provide generalist People & Culture support, advice, coaching and support to your key stakeholders whilst ensuring People & Culture best practice is embedded within the management culture. As a People & Culture National Manager you will be actively involved is developing People & Culture strategies and influencing and driving the People & Culture strategic plan across Infrastructure Delivery.

- Has experience in providing senior-level HR advisory support and ideally some history developing and delivering meaningful HR initiatives.
- Is analytical and has the skills to use data to make decisions.
- Is high energy, positive, solutions-focused and is just as happy working on strategy as being busy with BAU.
This is a highly influential role that is vital in supporting our people managers to develop the capability of their teams and realise the potential of their performance. You will be integral to the success of our operational business through overseeing the resourcing of large infrastructure projects delivered in New Zealand and the Pacific.
