Geospatial Systems Analyst/developer

**The Role**
Reporting to the Electricity Platforms Manager, you will be delivering solutions that leverage Northpower’s existing geospatial and asset systems capability. You will also play an integral part in designing and further modernising our platforms to support business outcomes and data driven decision-making.
- Other aspects of the role include:
- Understanding existing solutions, incrementally replacing capability with modern technologies
- Work iteratively with the Electricity Platforms team to deliver targeted solutions within a highly integrated system landscape
- Support, configuration, maintenance, and development of Northpower’s enterprise geospatial and asset platforms
- Work with the business to resolve process and data issues
- Assist the wider Digital teams where required

**About you**
You could be someone who’s been doing a similar role at a mid/senior level and looking for their next challenge, or you could be someone in a junior role and wanting to develop and upskill.
- You will be a natural communicator, enjoy working in a team environment, approachable, and have the confidence to interact with people from both technical and business teams. Ideally, you will also have:
- A passion for learning new skills and techniques using geospatial technology
- Experience with:Enterprise GIS systems (ESRI ArcGIS or Hexagon G/Technology - utility sector preferred); spatial databases (Oracle, SQL Server); PL/SQL and Python programming languages or similar- Experience supporting enterprise server environments
- An understanding of asset management principles
- Related/similar experience and a desire to learn all of the above
