Finance Business Partner

Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing finance support to group commercial functions and partnering with our Fibre business. You will ensure that the objectives are optimized and that strategic opportunities are developed and actioned.
- Integral to this role is the responsibility for the analysis, monitoring and reporting of key financial and operational indicators as well as supporting the budgeting, forecasting and regulatory cycles. Driving performance and improvement will be a key aspect and you will be responsible for the completion of the various regulatory disclosures applicable to the fibre business.**Based in Whangarei you will**:
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, partnering with our Fibre Chief Executive and joining the Fibre Leadership Team, ensuring the required commercial and financial outcomes are well supported
- Be insightful to drive the fibre business and support decision making

**About you**
We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- Qualified in CA or ACA
- Outstanding commercial and financial acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least 5 years’ experience in management accounting, external financial accounting and financial / regulatory reporting
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative working relationships with diverse people.
- Robust numerical and analytical skills and not to mention an aptitude to foresee challenges
- Advance knowledge of MS Excel and financial modelling skills along with a reputation for understanding processes and making improvement recommendations
- Confidence to coach a direct report and leadership team; Well organised to work under pressure
- Experience with JDE, Power BI or other equivalent ERP system will be an advantage
- Previous successes in senior Finance/Commercial analyst positions in NZ, ideally within contracting, infrastructure, utility, telecommunications or related industries will be a bonus
