**The role**
Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Regulatory, this office-based new role (with potential to be hybrid later) will see you supporting the Network Commercial and Regulatory team in a wide range of activities relating to pricing, billing, regulatory and compliance work.

Based in Whangarei, you will also:
- Provide support and back-up for retail billing, POs, invoicing, and creditor management
- Assist in data reporting, analysis, and insights
- Support in understanding new regulatory changes and collaboratively work with the wider team in assisting the development of submissions
- Support in ICP compliance and management
- Engage in process mapping, documentation, and business improvements to drive greater efficiencies, insights, and outcomes

**About you**
You will have a Tertiary level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.Your “can do” attitude, mindset, and flair for initiative with confidence and adaptability to work in a challenging, changing environment will carry weight for success. We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with Strong Excel skills- Enthusiasm to learn new systems quickly and being Highly receptive to training & new knowledge
- Proven analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capability
- Good time keeping and ability to operate under some pressure to the required timeframes
- High attention to detail and a good aptitude for accuracy
- Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships
- Enjoy working in a busy team environment, yet able to work self-directed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foresee challenges, read situations and respond efficiently and effectively will be beneficial
- 1-2 years’ experience in the electricity industry (preferred)
